In a quarry or extraction site, your product is an abrasive. Quartz, limestone, basalt, gravel and sand grind away everything they touch — and the moment they get past a seal into a bearing, they behave like grinding paste. A crusher or vibrating screen that goes down also stops the entire chain: there’s no buffer between crushing, screening and conveying. SKF and SKF Lincoln lubrication systems deliver precisely dosed grease to every point while the installation is running, keep that contamination out with a constant grease flow, and take your people away from moving machinery. Euroquip designs, installs and maintains them — on fixed installations and on your mobile equipment alike.
Official SKF partner · Certified installation · Retrofit on existing crushing and screening installations · ATEX versions on request · Service throughout the Benelux

Why quarries and extraction companies in the Benelux work with Euroquip
- ✅Official SKF partner — direct access to the complete SKF and SKF Lincoln range, technical support and warranty terms.
- ✅Certified installation of lubrication systems — from system design and the choice between progressive, multi-line and dual-line to line routing, hose protection, commissioning and training your technicians.
- ✅We know abrasive environments — retrofit on existing crushing, screening and conveying installations of various brands and vintages, mounting on vibrating parts, and systems that withstand dust, water and stone impact.
- ✅On-site advice and maintenance — periodic inspection, refilling, adjustment and fault follow-up through a single point of contact, even at remote extraction sites.
- ✅Installation within your shutdown window — we plan around your production calendar and scheduled overhauls, not the other way around.
Frequently asked questions
Four levels of lubrication:
where does your site stand today?
Not every machine needs the same level of lubrication. A return drum at the end of a short conveyor belt needs something different from a cone crusher that carries your entire production. SKF and SKF Lincoln build the four levels modularly, so you can choose per installation and expand later. Together with you, Euroquip determines which level pays off fastest and where.

Lubrication solutions per installation type in mining and quarrying
Every step in the chain has its own lubrication profile: the load, the speed, the accessibility and the level of contamination vary widely. Below are the four groups Euroquip is asked about most often, with their critical components and the matching SKF solution.
Lubricants and diagnostic tools for crushing, screening and conveying installations
A lubrication system is only as good as the grease that runs through it. In a quarry, that grease has to do four things at once: carry extreme and shock-type loads at low speeds, resist water and mud, keep abrasive dust out of the bearing contact, and remain pumpable over long line runs. That’s a rare combination.
SKF LGEV 2 and LGEM 2 — extreme viscosity with solid lubricants
LGEV 2 is a grease with an extremely high-viscosity base oil, molybdenum disulfide and graphite. Designed for exceptional protection under the harshest conditions.
Where it excels: Large trunnion bearings under high load at low speeds — exactly the situation where micro-slip occurs and an ordinary lubricating film falls short.
Typical application: crusher bearings, eccentric bushings, screen bearings and open gear drives. LGEM 2 is the slightly more broadly applicable variant.
Point to watch: greases with solid lubricants in a centralised system require technical consultation with SKF (max 8% graphite and 5% MoS2). Euroquip validates this per system design.
SKF LGHB 2 — high load, high temperature, water ingress
High-viscosity grease with a calcium sulfonate complex thickener. SKF explicitly names it suitable for the mining segment.
Where it excels: Excellent load-bearing capacity, oxidation and corrosion protection even with significant water ingress, and very good pumpability (suitable for dual-line systems).
Typical application: crusher bearings, drive and return drums of conveyor belts, heavily loaded bearings in wet or washing processes (e.g. sand/gravel washing).
SKF LGWA 2, LGWM 1 and LGWM 2 — variable conditions
LGWA 2: The standard for wheel bearings and slow-turning points (operating temperature −30 to +140 °C).
LGWM 2: For heavy-duty off-road applications and equipment that stands idle for long periods (false-brinelling protection).
LGWM 1: Low-consistency grease with excellent pumpability at low temperatures. The choice for long line runs in winter.
Euroquip fixes the choice per point in the lubrication plan, rather than rolling out one grease across the whole site.
Diagnostic and dosing tools
SKF TLSD / LAGD single-point lubricators: Automatic solutions per point, with status LEDs. Ideal for a belt run you want to automate step by step without laying piping.
SKF Lincoln 1882-E: Battery grease gun for manual points, combined with a grease meter. A grease meter is the only way to determine the actual re-greasing quantity with precision.
SKF eLube app & Datalog: The diagnostic layer over your system for wireless status reading, early warnings and logbooks.
Bring your installation to the right lubrication level
Start with one machine — usually the crusher or the screening line with the highest downtime cost. We map the lubrication points, calculate what the current approach costs you each year in labour, grease, bearings and downtime, and propose the level that pays for itself the fastest.
Do you also work with large oil systems — hydraulics, gearboxes, circulation oil? Then take a look at SKF RecondOil for circular oil use.
