What is excise tax recovery?
Simply put, that is getting some of the taxes back through customs. Currently, recovery is €247.6158 per 1000L.
Am I entitled to excise tax recovery?
If you are self-employed and have trucks over 7.5 Ton, own a cab business or have a tour bus business you qualify.
By having your system serviced every 6 months, every year, … maintenance, you can be sure that your supplies will come up to par with your tank capacity. Internal filters are replaced so your pump will run more smoothly.
A tank installation is an open system. The fuel you pull out of your tank makes you pull in air. This air may contain dirt/sand ed. This sinks to the bottom of your tank and/or gets sucked back in with fuel you fill up in your vehicle. The internal filter will stop the biggest debris.

At what flow rate (l/min) will my fuel be pumped?
Depending on your flow rate, the size of your filter is determined. The larger the flow per minute, the larger the contact area of your filter should be, the larger your filter should be.
How many gallons do you consume per month / per year?
The total amount of fuel per year is also a determining factor of how big your filter should be.
