Life-cycle research by the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute (2021) shows a climate impact of 3,830 kg CO₂-equivalent per m³ for the conventional oil cycle, compared with 8.2 kg CO₂-equivalent with the RecondOil Box — a reduction of up to 99%, depending on the energy mix.
