How does the VEI GR2 Grapple work? The VEI GR2 is the ultimate mobile weighing system, specifically designed for the heavy-duty recycling and transshipment sector. The main advantage of this is that the crane weighs each load immediately and in real time, simply as part of its normal operation.
The Weighing Principle: Simple and Effective
Direct load measurement: The fork features a solid load pin that supports the entire load.
Advanced strain gauges: When lifting material, a minute, invisible deformation occurs in the internal strain gauges of this pen.
Weight displayed directly on the screen: This deformation is converted into an electrical signal. The weighing indicator in the cab then immediately converts this signal into the exact net weight.
